I'm not a consultant who studied organizations from the outside. I built and led them from the inside — five times over. Across two decades and two CIO-level reporting relationships, I've stood up five distinct functions from the ground up: ecommerce analytics, digital insights & analytics, marketing intelligence, portfolio management, and enterprise data. Every one was globally distributed. Every one was a mix of full-time and contract professionals. And every one required building credibility, culture, and capability in environments that didn't yet believe in what we were creating.

At Rackspace Technology, I led a 700+ person IT transformation reporting directly to the CIO — launching the company's first Portfolio Management Office, onboarding 80+ professionals across 9 sub-functions in 90 days, and directing the technology roadmap across 51 teams and 150+ strategic initiatives. We achieved 85% on-time delivery, improved throughput by 60%, and reduced defects by 50% through enterprise-wide Scaled Agile adoption.

At Twilio, I built the Enterprise Data & Analytics function to a cross-functional team serving Legal, Finance, Product, Marketing, and Security — establishing the company's first governance council, launching its first data policies program, and delivering $750K+ in annual savings through architecture modernization.
