Meet Lara

Executive.
Healer.
Both, at once.

I spent over twenty years building global teams across enterprise data, marketing, and advertising. I led the data function at Twilio. Built analytics organizations at Rackspace. And somewhere along the way, I also became a PCC-trained coach, a yoga instructor, a certified sound healer, and a space activation practitioner.

My brain thinks in frameworks. My body thinks in frequencies. And I've learned that both of those things are useful, sometimes in the same conversation.

The Honest Version

For a long time I kept those worlds separate. I had corporate Lara, and holistic Lara, and mom Lara. And honestly, I was a little embarrassed to let any of them see each other. This work is what happens when you stop doing that.

The long version,
if you want it.

I'm Dominican-American. I'm a mom. I have a blended family that somehow works beautifully despite being beautifully complicated. And for most of my adult life, I built my identity around being excellent at one thing: analyzing things.

I started in advertising and marketing, then moved into enterprise data and analytics. I built five functions from scratch across four industries. I led global teams of up to 120 people across four regions. Each transition taught me something the last one couldn't. Transitions are kind of my thing.

And then my body started voting no.

I had a heart crisis. Both real and metaphorical. The kind that puts you in a hospital and makes you reconsider every choice you've made about how you spend your energy. And in that reckoning, I realized something I'd been sensing for years but hadn't been willing to say out loud: the leadership that got me here wasn't going to take me where I actually wanted to go.

"I felt like I had to check a box to narrow my experience to one role versus expanding my opportunities to match the diversity of my skills and passions. I was wrong."

So I stopped pretending that the corporate playbook and the spiritual one had to stay separate. I got trained as a coach. I deepened my yoga practice. I studied sound healing. I became a space activation practitioner. Not because I was running away from data, but because I was finally letting the rest of me into the room.

The wild part? My husband Hermann did the same thing. He left Apple after 15 years and started a sustainable clean fuel business in West Africa. We left corporate and started businesses within six months of each other. Neither of us had a plan. We had clarity.

That's what I mean by illuminating potential. It's not about reinventing yourself. It's about remembering what was always there and finally building from it.

Illuminating Potential is where all of that converges. It's coaching and consulting for people who are done fragmenting themselves. Who want to bring the strategist, the creative, the healer, and the human to the same table. And who are ready to design what's next with all of those parts working together.

Intuitively led.

People I've Seen Transform

This work is
contagious.

Here's what happens when people stop narrowing themselves and start integrating.

Hermann (my husband)

Left Apple after 15 years. Started a sustainable clean fuel business in his ancestral roots of West Africa. We left corporate and started businesses within six months of each other.

"Neither of us had a plan. We had clarity."

The Creative

A creative who'd held a dozen roles and couldn't see how they connected. Felt like he had to pick one lane. We worked on his integrated narrative. He used it to email a CEO directly. He's now a staff writer at two national magazines.

"Sometimes you have to create what's next if it doesn't exist."

The Director

A strong, capable leader navigating a career crossroads. Unsure what the next role should be because she'd done so many things. She didn't need to narrow her story. She needed to expand it.

"You're a thriver, not a survivor. There's a difference."

The Builder

Left corporate to start her own business. Making the solo path work. Needed a thinking partner who understands both the strategy brain and the human brain.

"The best moves happen when both sides of you are in the room."

A note from Lara.

If you've made it this far, you're probably the kind of person who wants to know who they're working with before they work with them. I respect that.

Here's what I want you to know: I don't coach from a pedestal. I coach from experience. I've had the corporate career. I've had the health scare. I've navigated the identity crisis of becoming a parent at 39. I've sat in boardrooms and I've sat in sound baths. And the most honest thing I can tell you is that none of those things are separate. They're all part of the same story.

The work I do now isn't about fixing what's broken. It's about illuminating what's already there. The potential you've been carrying. The knowing you've been overriding. The chapter you've been sensing is yours.

If any of this resonates, I'd love to talk. No pitch. Just a real conversation about where you are and where you want to go.

With warmth and honesty,

Lara
