Illuminating Potential®
Privacy policy.
1. Who we are
Illuminating Potential LLC ("we," "our," "us") operates laraindrikovs.com and the Illuminating Potential® coaching and consulting practice. We are based in Austin, Texas, and the site is hosted on Squarespace.
We offer free resources, assessments, coaching engagements, and consulting services.
2. What we collect
Contact details. Your name, email address, and phone number if you share it, when you join the mailing list, book a call, or get in touch.
Profile information. What you tell us in intake forms and discovery calls about your role, your company, your time zone, and what you're working on.
We don't ask for health information. We tell you when a practice may not be suitable and we ask before offering one, in conversation. We don't collect a health history, we don't record what you tell us, and you can decline any practice without giving a reason.
Session material. For coaching clients, this includes session transcripts, our notes, the written recaps we send you, and our correspondence. Coaching conversations sometimes touch on health, and where that happens it sits inside session material rather than in any separate record. It's kept, protected, and deleted on the same terms as everything else in Section 9.
Transaction information. Purchase amount, billing address, and the last four digits of your card, recorded by our payment processors.
Usage information. Cookies, Squarespace analytics, and Google Analytics 4 record which pages you visit, what you click, your IP address, and basic browser information.
Assessment responses. Answers you give in The Read and The Mirror.
Marketing information. Email opens and download history, through our email platform.
We do not knowingly collect government identifiers or data about children.
3. How we use it
Delivering our services: scheduling, session preparation, recaps, and follow-up
Keeping the work safe, which we do by telling you what a practice involves and asking before we offer it
Sending the resources and newsletters you asked for, which you can leave at any time
Understanding which content is useful so we can make better things
Meeting our legal, tax, and record-keeping obligations
Producing aggregated, anonymized research that never identifies you
4. Legal bases, if you’re in the EEA or UK
Consent for the newsletter, cookies, and any health information you share
Contract for coaching and consulting engagements and purchases
Legitimate interests for analytics and basic marketing
Legal obligation for bookkeeping and privacy compliance
We don't collect health information as a category of data. Where something health-related comes up inside a coaching conversation, and that amounts to special category data under Article 9 of the GDPR, we process it only as part of delivering the engagement you've asked for, on your explicit consent, and you can withdraw that consent at any time.
5. Your rights
Wherever you live, you can ask to see the information we hold about you, correct it, have it deleted, restrict or object to how we use it, or receive a copy to take elsewhere.
If you're in the EEA or the UK, the GDPR gives you all of these. In Texas, the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act, in effect since July 2024, adds the right to opt out of targeted advertising and profiling. The CPRA gives Californians the right to limit use of sensitive personal information and to refuse any sale or sharing of their data. A growing number of other states provide comparable rights.
Email privacy@laraindrikovs.com or write to the address in Section 12. We'll confirm it's really you, then respond within the time your local law allows, sooner where we can.
If we refuse a request, we'll tell you why, and you can appeal by replying to that response. We'll review the appeal and write back with our decision and the reasons for it. If we refuse the appeal, you may contact the Texas Attorney General or your own regulator.
6. Cookies
We use cookies for site functionality (Squarespace), traffic analytics (Google Analytics 4), and email analytics (Flodesk). Manage them through your browser or through the banner on your first visit.
7. Who we share it with
We don't sell your personal data, and we never will. We share it only with the providers who help us run the practice:
We also share information with our professional advisors, including our accountant, attorney, and insurers, only where necessary and under confidentiality. We share with regulators or law enforcement where the law compels it, or where disclosure is needed to protect someone's safety.
Each provider is bound by terms limiting what they may do with your information.
8. Artificial intelligence
Two of the tools above use AI on client material, and we want you to know before you decide what to share.
Zoom AI Companion transcribes coaching sessions and can generate summaries. Notion holds session notes and helps draft the written recaps we send you. Both pass content to third-party model providers to do this, and both companies state that they do not use customer content to train their AI models.
You can opt out. Tell us at any point that you'd rather we didn't use these tools for your sessions, and we'll turn them off and take notes by hand. Nothing else about the work changes, and you don't need to give a reason.
We don't use AI to make decisions about you, and we don't use your session material to train anything.
9. How long we keep it
Coaching clients can ask us to delete session material sooner and we will. We keep signed paperwork for the full period because it protects both of us if a question arises about what was agreed.
10. International transfers
Our servers and most of our providers are in the United States. If you're outside the US, your information will be transferred and processed here. We rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or other lawful transfer mechanisms.
11. Security
We use industry-standard protection in transit and at rest, including encryption and access controls. No internet transmission is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.
12. Age
Our services are for adults. The site isn't directed to children, we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18, and we don't work with minors. If you believe we've collected a child's information, contact us and we'll delete it promptly.
