Privacy policy
1. Who We Are
LaraIndrikovs.com (“Site,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) is the online home of Lara Indrikovs and the Illuminating Potential™ coaching practice. We are based in Austin, Texas, USA, and the Site is hosted on Squarespace. We offer free resources (e-mails, PDFs, masterclasses) and fee-based services (coaching programs, digital downloads).
2. Information We Collect
When you interact with LaraIndrikovs.com, we gather five main types of information:
Contact details. When you join the mailing list, join a wait-list, or book a call, we capture the basics—your name, email address, and (if you share it) a phone number—so we can confirm your request and stay in touch.
Profile data. Intake questionnaires and discovery-call forms invite you to tell us about your role, company, time zone, and coaching preferences. These details help us tailor sessions and resources to your context.
Transactional data. If you purchase a coaching package or digital download, our payment processors (Stripe or Squarespace Payments) record the purchase amount, billing address, and the last four digits of your card to complete the transaction and meet accounting requirements.
Usage data. Like most websites, we use cookies, Squarespace analytics, and Google Analytics to see which pages you visit, what links you click, your IP address, and basic browser information. This shows us what content resonates and where we can improve the site experience.
Marketing data. Our email platform tracks things like email opens and download history so we can send you resources you’ve asked for and avoid cluttering your inbox with irrelevant content.
We do not knowingly collect sensitive health information, government identifiers, or data about children under 13.
3. How We Use Your Information
Service delivery: schedule calls, send confirmation e-mails, fulfill digital downloads
Marketing & updates: deliver the Daily Ritual Builder and other requested resources; send newsletters (you may unsubscribe at any time)
Analytics & improvement: understand which pages resonate so we can refine content
Legal & compliance: maintain records required under tax or privacy laws
4. Legal Bases (EEA/UK)
When the GDPR applies, we rely on:
Consent (newsletter, wait-list, cookies)
Contract (purchasing coaching or downloads)
Legitimate interests (analytics, basic marketing)
Legal obligation (bookkeeping, consumer-privacy compliance)
5. Your Privacy Rights
No matter where you live, you deserve to know what’s happening with your data. That’s why we honor the spirit of the world’s leading privacy laws even if they don’t all apply to every visitor.
If you’re in the European Union or the United Kingdom, the GDPR gives you the full menu of rights: you can ask to see the data we hold about you, correct it, restrict or object to certain processing, or tell us to erase it altogether. Texans will soon enjoy similar protections under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act, which adds the right to opt out of targeted advertising and automated profiling. Californians, through the CPRA, can also limit the use of sensitive personal information and say “no thanks” to any sale or sharing of their data. A growing list of U.S. states—including Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Iowa, Minnesota, Tennessee, and Maryland—now provides comparable access, deletion, portability, and opt-out powers.
Whichever jurisdiction you call home, you can exercise these rights the same way: email privacy@laraindrikovs.com or write to the postal address in Section 12. We’ll verify that it’s really you, then respond within the deadline your local law sets (or faster, whenever we can).
6. Cookies & Tracking
We use first-party and third-party cookies for:
Site functionality (Squarespace)
Traffic analytics (Google Analytics 4)
Email analytics (Flodesk)
You can manage cookies via your browser settings or by using the cookie banner on your first visit.
7. How We Share Information
We don’t sell your personal data, and we never will. We share it only with trusted partners who help us run LaraIndrikovs.com or deliver the services you’ve asked for:
Squarespace hosts our website, stores our forms, and provides basic site analytics.
Stripe (or Squarespace Payments) handles your credit-card details behind a secure, PCI-DSS–compliant wall whenever you buy a coaching package or digital download.
Squarespace sends our newsletters and automated emails and tells us which links were most helpful to you.
Google Analytics gives us an aggregated snapshot of how visitors move through the site so we can make it better.
Zoom and Calendly keep our coaching and discovery sessions running smoothly.
Professional advisors—think accountants or lawyers—see data only when absolutely necessary to do their jobs and under strict confidentiality.
Regulators or law-enforcement authorities may receive data if the law compels us to share it or if disclosure is needed to protect our rights or someone’s safety.
Each vendor signs a contract limiting what they can do with your information and requiring them to keep it safe. In short, your data goes only where it must, and only for the reasons you’d expect.
8. International Transfers
Our servers and many of our service providers are located in the United States. If you are outside the U.S., your data will be transferred and processed here. We rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or other lawful mechanisms for such transfers.
9. Data Retention
We keep personal data only as long as needed to fulfill the purposes above, comply with legal obligations (usually up to 7 years for tax records), resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.
10. Security
We follow industry-standard practices to protect data in transit (TLS) and at rest (encryption, access controls). No internet transmission is 100 % secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. Children
The Site is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe we have, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
